Conglomerate
Lithogenous sedimentary rock.
Quartz pebble gravel imbedded in ferrigenous mudstone (a quartz-pebble conglomerate).
The original sediment was deposited on
a coastal gravel bar deposit near mouth of a stream or tidal channel (possibly Late Pleistocene to Holocene in age). It was later cemented with iron-oxide minerals (limonite and hematite).
